George and Carolyn Bannon

A Pittsburgh, Pa. native, Bannon lives with his wife Carolyn in the northern suburbs of the city.  He has three sons — Scott, Shawn and Michael; two married stepsons — Sy, who is married to Felicia and Curt, who is married to Lisa; a stepdaughter, Terri; three grandchildren — Brittany, Dylan and Jessica; and two great-granddaughters, Karma and Jenavieve.

A lifelong Catholic, Bannon is sure The Final Crusade will rub some of his fellow parishioners the wrong way but hopes others will enjoy the story as it unfolds.  In the meantime, he’s already hard at work on his next novel, a haunting tale set in a world of ancient ruins uncovered by modern archaeology.  And working alongside his publisher and editor, he’s enjoying the process to ready The Final Crusade for print.  Read his blog at GeorgeBannon.com to follow the process yourself.  And follow him on Facebook and Twitter to find out how you can register to receive a personalized, signed copy of The Final Crusade when it hits shelves later this year.
